"We pride ourselves on our nurturing ethos where every child is enabled to do their very best. Your child is an individual and as a small school, all members of the teaching and support staff know each and every child.

We place an emphasis on knowing the strengths and needs of all pupils and adapting what we do so that every child can achieve."

We hope you will find this website an interesting and useful way to stay informed about the school and keep up-to-date with our news.

If you have any questions about the school, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Mrs Sue Clarke
Head of School

Welcome to Barling Magna Primary Academy, part of The Brickfields Multi Academy Trust, we hope that you will find our website interesting and informative.

We established The Brickfields Multi Academy Trust in 2017 with the aim that all children within our community would have access to an outstanding quality of education. The schools in our trust work closely together to provide “Excellence and opportunity in partnership”.

Our board of trustees support and challenge school leaders to secure excellent outcomes and to ensure that;

  • positive relationships are at the heart of all we do
  • our learning environments ensure all pupils feel safe, cared for and listened to
  • a relevant, engaging and inspiring curriculum maximises learning
  • varied and challenging learning experiences meet the needs of every child
  • a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities are offered
  • independence, personal responsibility, perseverance and resilience are developed
  • parents and carers are a valued partner in the education of our pupils

Our trust currently employs around one hundred staff across our schools in a range of roles. Our staff work closely together and learn from each other, sharing best practice.  Professional development and opportunities to work across our MAT schools encourages staff’s personal growth and ownership of their own development. Staff wellbeing is important to us and as a result we are viewed as an appealing employer and ambitious colleagues choose to join our high performing team

Whether you are considering joining our trust as a prospective parent or staff member we hope that the information found on our website will provide you with most of what you need, however do not hesitate to contact us further if you would like to find out more or if you would like to come along and see our schools in action.
